the collective – a group of people acting as one

RiverStone’s local outreach is called “the collective”.  Our heart for the collective is to move out into the community in practical ways that serve and bless Cobb County by naturally supernatural interactions that lead people into encounters with the goodness of God and the love of Jesus. Through practical acts of service combined with hearts fastened to Jesus in faith, we hope to see lives changed. the collective serves as an avenue to create opportunities for encounters. There are three facets to this ministry- when we give (the collective Supply), when we go (the collective Serve), and when we invite (the collective Table). These facets involve partnering with local ministries to collect items that meet needs in our community, intentional times of service out in our community, and dinner invitations to serve and bless others in our community.

the collective Supply

the collective Supply is partnering with RSKids to work together to provide stockings for foster young adults and boys!
We have committed to providing *75* stockings – FULL!
Visit our Giving tree at the Welcome Center for more information!
You will find ornaments filling the tree and a list of what items you can get to fill the stockings with.
If you are able, you can take on the entire stocking and fill it!
Or you can bring individual items and place them in the container next to the tree.
We are grateful for this opportunity to bless the STOCKINGS off these young adults and boys!
We’ve had such a great response already. Help us meet our goal!!! Collection ends Sunday, December 16th!

the collective Serve

the collective Serve for the Fall is Saturday, Oct. 6th!  We will begin at RiverStone at 9 am with a light breakfast followed by a time of worship and prayer. At 10 am we will head to various sites to serve until around 1 pm depending on your location.  Some of the sites will be McKenna Farms, Table on Delk, MUST, and Kennesaw Mountain Park.

the collective Table

the collective Table for the Fall is November 9th at 7 pm in the Grand Foyer. If you or anyone you know is hurting or walking through a difficult season of life, we would love to invite you to come and spend an evening being loved and encouraged (and fed a wonderful meal!).  Registration for this event is online.
