the collective – a group of people acting as one

RiverStone’s local outreach is called “the collective.”  Our heart for the collective is to move out into the community in practical ways that serve and bless Cobb County by naturally supernatural interactions that lead people into encounters with the goodness of God and the love of Jesus. Through practical acts of service combined with hearts fastened to Jesus in faith, we hope to see lives changed. the collective serves as an avenue to create opportunities for encounters. There are three facets to this ministry- when we give (the collective Supply), when we go (the collective Serve), and when we invite (the collective Table). These facets involve partnering with local ministries to collect items that meet needs in our community, intentional times of service out in our community, and dinner invitations to serve and bless others in our community.

the collective Supply

the collective Supply has partnered with Rescuing Hope, MUST Ministries, Kennesaw Mountain High School, and Igniting Hope so far this year to meet needs within our community.

In May we are collecting swim goggles for foster children attending Royal Family Kids Camp.

In August we will partner with Marietta High School to gather items to help teen moms.

In October & November, we will be a drop-off location for operation Christmas Child’s shoebox ministry.

the collective Serve

the collective Serve is dedicating the month of June to getting out in our community to perform radical acts of compassion and kindness all over Cobb County!

the collective Table

the collective Table wants to be blessing to the people who serve those on the front lines of serving our community. On the 2nd Saturday of each month, we will take breakfast to park rangers, teachers, police officers, and firemen in our area. To sign up for a Saturday, email brooke@riverstoneonline.org.
