2024 Winter Women’s Bible Study

Our Winter Women’s Bible Studies will be on Tuesday mornings 9:30-11:30 AM & Sunday nights 6-8 PM. Childcare is provided for the Tuesday morning studies.

We will start our Tuesday morning studies on January 16th with a breakfast and social in the Coffeehouse, and our Sunday night study on January 21st with a dessert & social in the Coffeehouse.

  • Tuesdays: In the Precept study, we will continue the study of Exodus with Laura Patterson.
  • Tuesdays: Lynn Nester will explore one of our female roll models in the bible, Esther. Bring your bible and sense of wonder as we see how God worked through this young woman.
  • Sundays: Living from the Unseen by Wendy Backlund. This book will help identify beliefs that block the reception of God’s blessing and hinder our ability to live out our destiny. It discusses that believing differently, not trying harder, is the key to change.

Oasis – A Ministry for Single Moms

RiverStone values single moms of all ages, and we want to be a source of support and encouragement.  Periodically, we host dinners focusing on fellowship, developing friendships, and encouraging one another as we try to meet the unique needs of the single mom.  Look for upcoming events in the RiverStone Newsletter and on the Events page.  For more information, contact Darlene Chiasson at darlenechiasson@hotmail.com.

Widows Walk – A Journey of Discovery

RiverStone’s Widows ministry meets on the second Saturday of each month at 10:30am. Please park behind the church and enter through the office doors. For information or questions, please contact Lynn Sanders (lynns212@gmail.com).

Intercessory Prayer

If you have a heart for prayer and feel the prompting of Holy Spirit to pray with like-minded women, you are invited to join us in the Prayer Room on Thursday mornings at 9:30am. We have experienced many breakthroughs and are expecting even greater ones to come. First timers are ALWAYS welcome! “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” James 5:16
