Michael came on staff at RiverStone in October of 2021, and serves as the assistant to the Senior Pastor. He discovered RiverStone through a few college friends back in 2013, but did not become a full-time member until August of 2016. Prior to joining the staff, Michael served in various roles including the leadership team at Dwelling Place, the Night of Healing Prayer Ministry Team, OneCamp Counselor, Kids Camp Counselor, and the Sunday Morning Altar Ministry. What he loves most about RiverStone is the genuine love everyone has for each other.
Michael is a huge sports guy. Baseball is his first love and the Atlanta Braves will always be his team. During football season, he pulls for the back-to-back National Champion Georgia Bulldogs. When the warmer months are in season, you will find Michael at the golf course, the pool, or the lake. Fitness is also a big part of his life and he is passionate about leading a healthy and active lifestyle. Michael is passionate about pursuing the lost and leading them into a relationship with Jesus. A mind-blowing fact about Michael is that he is a two-time liver transplant recipient and is thankful to God for each day.
