Alpha Small Groups

Beginning in September

RiverStone is starting Alpha small groups in September. Alpha is a series of sessions that freely explore life, spirituality, and the foundations of the Christian faith in a fun, non-judgmental, and safe environment.

Whether you’re just checking it out, new to faith, exploring spirituality or just want to make some new friends, you are invited.

Please register to participate and we’ll get you connected to one of our Alpha groups. We’ll be hosting groups in homes, at the church, and will even have a group specially for KSU students.

Fall Precept Bible Study
This fall, our Precept Bible Study will cover two short studies from the Old Testament. We’ll begin with Ecclesiastes and then move immediately to Malachi. These two short books don’t get a lot of attention; but they’re important to God, so we want to know what they say and apply it to our hearts! Ecclesiastes explores the meaning of life under the sun and its relationship to eternity and God. Malachi emphasizes the importance of revering the Lord and standing in awe of his name. Come join us as we study these often overlooked books of the Bible! Please contact Laura Patterson with any questions at

Elijah Bible Study by Priscilla Shirer
Join Priscilla Shirer on this 7- session journey through the life and times of the prophet Elijah to discover how the fire on Mount Carmel was forged in the valley of famine. And how the emboldened, fiery faith you desire is being fashioned by God in your life right now.

RS Missions Prayer

September 13  7 PM

Come be a part of spreading the Good News of Jesus as we pray for missionaries and the nations of the globe. Be connected to our RS missionaries – hear their praise reports, visions, and needs. We will meet on the second Monday of each month in the Venue at 7 PM. We hope you’ll join us!

Blood Drive

September 23  12 – 5 PM

On September 23, we’ll roll up our sleeves and help save lives! We proudly partner with the American Red Cross to host blood drives here at RiverStone. Each pint of blood we collect can help save up to three lives and will touch the lives of so many more. What a great way to pay it forward and make an impact on people in our community and across the country. We are excited and hope you are, too!

RS Together

September 26  11 AM

Beginning this month, we plan to change things up on the 4th Sunday of every month. On these fourth Sundays, we will have one service only at 11 AM. Children’s programming will be available. There is great value in gathering together as one body on those days, while leaving space for growth on the other weeks. Mark your calendars – we’ll see you there!
