Tom joined the RiverStone staff in August of 1999 as an Associate Pastor. Tom was named Senior Pastor upon the retirement of founding pastor Charles Sineath. Tom’s responsibilities include preaching and teaching on Sundays, casting vision for the congregation, leading the staff, chairing the Board of Directors and the general oversight of all ministries of the church. Tom also serves as President of The Transformation Network, which is an organization dedicated to church planting.
Tom and his wife Melissa have two children and four grandkids.
Brad has been attending RiverStone since it began in 1999. Before being called into full time ministry, he spent over 25 years in the construction industry, building custom homes and developing real estate. His passion, however, has always been ministry, whether leading or attending small groups, discipleship, or worship. He is a lifelong greater Marietta resident and is married to Nan. They have two children, Levi and Quinn. Tom Tanner was his youth pastor during the Reagan administration. His heart is for the Lord to use him however He sees fit. He has a comfortable chair in his office and would love for you to come by and visit anytime.
Terry joined the RiverStone staff as an Associate Pastor in April 1999. His responsibilities include Prayer and Healing Ministries, Pastoral Care, and Counseling. He works to identify and train those who work in our various healing ministries including Sunday Morning Ministry Teams, Nights of Healing Prayer, and Sozo, a ministry of inner healing and deliverance. Terry is very passionate about releasing people into their God-given destiny. Terry works with the other pastors to offer pastoral care, counseling, and referral services to those in our congregation and community. He also serves on RiverStone’s Board of Directors. Terry and his wife Patty have two children and three grandchildren.
Mason joined the RiverStone staff as the College and Young Adult Pastor in January of 2014. In 2011 before coming on staff Mason and his wife Hannah started Dwelling Place college ministry. Dwelling Place has now become an official RiverStone ministry. Additionally, Mason has begun Heritage, a young adults ministry targeting singles post-college. In addition to leading Dwelling Place and Heritage, Mason and his wife Hannah oversee a college young adult leadership team.
Robert is married to Kristin, and they have a seven year-old son, Jude. He has been on staff at RiverStone since March of 2013. Robert attended four Georgia colleges before earning his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Kennesaw State University (long story). He has earned a master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Robert started working with youth in 2005 alongside Kristin. They have been ministry partners ever since. He loves every aspect of youth ministry, and loves motivating the students at RiverStone to move into deeper relationships with Jesus Christ. Apart from family, Robert’s interests include: urban vacations, Dr. Pepper, UGA, Netflix, the Yankees, trying to figure out how to keep his hair, and hardware stores.
Kristin joined the RiverStone staff as the Women’s Student Pastor in August of 2008. In June of 2012 she became the Student Pastor. The Student Ministry targets all students from 6th-12th grade. Kristin leads a weekly worship service for the students, a student leadership team and also helps oversee our weekly discipleship small groups. Kristin also gives leadership to all our Student Ministry events which include: Middle School Retreat, Golf Tournament, Summer Camp, Leader’s Retreat, and many others. She also spends time investing in one-on-one discipleship and counseling with students. Kristin is married to Robert and they have a son named Jude.
Austin has been a resident of Metro Atlanta and has attended RiverStone for 4 years. He is an associate worship leader involved in many ministries throughout the church including leadership in the college ministry, youth ministry, Sunday morning services, and Night of Healing Prayer. Austin is passionate about raising up a generation of young creatives who pursue the depths of worship through songwriting and other forms of artistry. Austin believes that worship is not just what we do, but that we are worshipers who will encounter God in an extraordinary way through pursuing the Father’s heart in worship.
God called Becky and her four children to RiverStone in 2015. She was married to her husband for 15 years before he went home to be with the Lord. Her children are Benjamin, Isaac , Aaron, and Abigail, and they are a family who serve together. She has been on staff with the Garden ministry since 2016, and is now our Interim Children’s Pastor. Becky has served in children’s ministry for over 20 years and has also worked with children as a special needs therapist. Her passion is and always has been for children and seeing them grow in kingdom destiny and purpose! We are excited to have Becky on staff and look forward to how the Lord wants to use her to impact our children in the Garden during this season.
Nancy joined the RiverStone staff in January of 2013 as the Manager of Operations. She is responsible for all church operations including facilities, scheduling, systems, and human resources. Nancy and her husband Skip have two children, Annie and Andrew.
Veda and her family have been friends of RiverStone since our creation. We are thrilled that she joined our staff in September 2015 as our Accountant. Veda has extensive experience in accounting and finance with both for-profit and non-profit organizations. She handles the high level accounting functions for RiverStone and is such a valuable member of our team. Veda is excited to be a part of a team that puts striving for excellence for the Lord as first priority. Veda and her husband Chip have three amazing children.
Attending Riverstone Church since 2007, Skip joined the staff as Facilities Manager in August 2014. He is responsible for maintenance, security, and event setup. Following a business career of over forty years, his heart is in serving, humility, and the growing of our youth through the Youth Ministry. Concurrently, Skip serves as a Commissioner on the Cobb County Planning Commission and is a Member of the Cobb County Board of Zoning Appeals. He holds advanced degrees from the US Naval Academy, the University of California, and the Harvard Business School and he is an active musician in the Atlanta area. Skip is married to Nancy Gunther, and he has four children and three grandchildren.
Ashley joined the RiverStone staff in May 2017 when she and her husband moved to Marietta from Athens. Ashley graduated from UGA and then interned for the Wesley Foundation at UGA for three years. She has since joined the staff as the Pastor’s Assistant and Receptionist for the church. She is so excited to be on staff at RiverStone and to experience all that God is doing in and through RiverStone.
Gini joined the RiverStone staff in January 2013. She provides administrative support for the Prayer and Healing Ministries which includes Altar Ministry, Night of Healing Prayer, and Sozo. Gini is married to Patrick and they have three adult children and five grandchildren.
Christi is the Hospitality Coordinator at RiverStone and joined our staff in 2008. Her responsibilities include coordinating hospitality volunteers for all worship services, which includes volunteers at our guest centers as well as greeters. She also assists with special events at RiverStone and works in conjunction with the facilities staff to ensure the smooth running of RiverStone for large events and the day-to-day operations. Christi also works closely with the Parking Committee, Women’s Ministry, and assists with weddings at RiverStone. Christi has two children.
Kayla has attended RiverStone for three years. She recently joined our staff as the administrative assistant for the youth ministry & college ministry. She is also on leadership with Dwelling Place, our college ministry. In the past, she has been involved with multiple women’s ministry events & served as an intern for OneCamp. She says RiverStone has helped her develop a community-transformation mindset & she desires to see Jesus glorified in Kennesaw.
Ann and her family live in Woodstock and have been a part of RiverStone for five years. She has been married to her husband Mark for 31 years. They have four grown children and four grandchildren. Serving the body of Christ is one of her passions. Ann’s desire is to see The Garden Nursery as fertile soil with lots of love planted into our little ones by lots of harvest workers.
Casandra joined The Garden staff at RiverStone in May of 2014. She has served children in various ways, including: Vacation Bible School, moms groups, and leading childcare for women’s Bible studies. Casandra and her husband Aaron have two children, Haley and Morgan.
